Oh, so cute. Teddy is playing in the "pond." Funny, he looks immobile. What? Could it be?
Why, yes, he's asleep. Where is Jen? In the kitchen. With her iPod on. As in, couldn't hear Teddy scream himself to sleep. Or maybe he fell asleep quietly, I can't remember. The point is, Jen is negligent. And, yes, he did have a rattle imprint on his forehead upon waking. And, yes, he is wearing a terribly ironic bib. You just want to finish the sentence: despite all of her manifold shortcomings.
