Jen and Sam have been getting out a lot recently. Not only has the weather improved, thus making it actually attractive to leave the confines of home, but also, Sam is in the two-nap-only phase. AND in order to get two, long, quality naps out of him, Jen has to run him around.
They do stop to smell and pick apart the flowers. Jen is relentlessly trying to get Sam to make "flower" the first word he signs. I am rooting for "cat."
This contraption look terrifying, but it meets the Jen must-wear-you-out requirements: outside, in sunlight, uses energy, makes Sam smile.
