Yes, this is me ingratiating myself to my humans. I can't even describe how loud the "ooh" and "aaah" was when I did this. I really think I am getting closer and closer to more time in the main house.
I'll admit that rubbing Sam in this fashion also leaves my scent on him - to show all the other cats that might come around that he is mine. But, primarily, this rubbing is a sign of goodwill. Really.
